NavTrax Sistema operacional de expedição

Activities · Cycling · Skill 1–3 · Low to high risk

Surface, gradient, water. In that order.

Road, gravel, mountain and loaded touring are four different problems wearing the same clothes. The routing engine knows the difference: surface preference, elevation gain ceiling and water spacing are constraints you set, not outcomes you accept.

Pick the activity. The map configures itself.

These layers switch on together, because they are the set this activity actually needs. You can change any of them; the point is that the default is not a blank topo map.

Trails and singletrack
With difficulty and condition reports.
Roads
Including forest service and unmaintained roads that a car router will not touch.
Bike lanes
For the commuting and touring end of the range.
Water
Sources with community status, spaced against your carrying capacity.
Campsites
Established and dispersed, with legality where the parcel data exists.
Elevation
Gain, loss and maximum grade per segment, before you commit to it.

The ways this actually goes wrong.

Every activity in NavTrax carries a documented failure-mode list, and each entry names the feature that addresses it. Not a disclaimer — a design input.

01

Tire cut beyond sealant

The remote-road layers show what you are committing to. Contingency plans name the nearest town with a bike shop, and its opening hours.

02

Getting lost on a remote road

Gravel and forest-service road networks are on the offline region, not just the paved ones.

03

Bonking

Water and resupply spacing is a routing constraint. The engine will not hand you a hundred-kilometer gap without telling you.

04

Vehicle collision

Route preference weights traffic exposure, and the app records the ride so a report has a track behind it.

05

Wrong trail difficulty

Difficulty is classified from distance, gain and maximum grade — the same classifier the whole routing engine uses.

What the app assumes you already do.

Tubeless with spares
Kit list scoped to the surface class you chose.
Navigation
Offline region pinned, turn-by-turn without a signal.
Tell someone
Scheduled check-ins with escalation.
Bright lights
Because gravel days end after dark more often than planned.

The gear list, scoped to this activity.

Pulled from the activity's own equipment profile and matched against the in-app store catalog. Nothing here is a generic recommendation.
