The mechanism, not the promise.
- Device integration
- Garmin inReach, Zoleo and comparable messengers for two-way text and SOS. Starlink terminals for bulk data where power and stowage allow.
- Compacted digest
- Over satellite the sync fabric sends only the operations that change safety-relevant state. The rest waits for a wider channel.
- Terminal monitoring
- Starlink status, obstruction and throughput, so you know whether the link is degraded or gone.
- Service catalog
- The satellite store lists real providers with real monthly costs — including the ones that are cheaper than ours to run.
- Coverage prediction
- The route’s coverage forecast schedules a satellite check-in at the waypoint where cellular ends, rather than leaving it to be improvised.
